The Angels first appear waiting at the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow when Yuri, Mila, Lilia, and Yakov arrive. Upon noticing the Angels, Yuri leaves his belongings with Mila and uses another airport exit to avoid being followed.
Later on, the Angels appear again cheering for Yuri during his short program at the Rostelecom Cup. They throw flowers and cat soft toys onto the ice, as well as a cat-eared headband that lands on Yuri's head, which incite squeals of adoration from the group. Despite Yuri's shock at the ears landing on his head, he does not take them off while sitting in the kiss and cry.
Skate 9 - Yuuri vs Yuri The Horror!! Rostelecom Cup, Free Skate
The Angels are seen in a flashback cheering for Yuri in Skate Canada, cheering Yuri on during his free skate program. While they are not visibly shown during the Rostelecom Cup, it is likely that the Angels were the ones who threw the cat soft toys that were stacked on the chair beside Yuri at the kiss and cry.
Skate 10 - Gotta Supercharge it! Pre-Grand Prix Final Special!
The Angels greets Yuri at the official hotel of the Grand Prix Finals in Barcelona begging for photos and autographs. At first, Yuri tries to turn them down, but after being told off by Lilia, he unwillingly takes a group photo complete with a cat-eared headband. JJ's fiancée, Isabella, is the first to mention the fan group's name as Yuri Angels, and compares the wild bunch to JJ's fan group, "JJ Girls," whom she believes are better behaved and more attractive. This causes Yuri to aggressively defend the Angels, while the two fan groups are also seen arguing alongside the skaters.
Some of the pictures they take with Yuri at the hotel are later posted on their Instagram account, where they are seen by Yuuri on his feed.
While hiding from more persistent members of the group later that evening, Yuri is able to avoid them when Otabek asks him to get onto his motorcycle, but the fans are able to snap pictures of the two skaters, which later goes viral on social media.
